September it is a day to have wings
spun yellow
grass fragrant
blood heating
morningit is red indian
summer –
all colored flowers vibrate
and fall upwards into
noonwhat miracles could happen
what embraces of the hearton such a day
for every soul there is a moment steeped in
beauty
Deep Thought: If I could go back and change one thing in my life, I think it would be that time I found that one-dollar bill on the sidewalk. I would change it to a million-dollar bill.
Today I am grateful for: Squirrels
Guess the Movie: “Yippie kay-yay, mother@#!%er.” Answer: Die Hard, 1988
End of Day – 8:54 pm

Thought provoking poem! If I could change one day in my life I think it would be the day I agreed to take a creative writing class with that man! lol.
I’m intrigued. Who IS “that man?”
red indian summer…touching…
I do like this. But Indian Summer? Not fair. It’s supposed to be real summer still. I’m tired of 50 degree summer nights and Lake Michigan stuck at 60.
The squirrels are rushing around here like crazy – I hope they don’t know something I don’t. Like we are in for a bad winter.
