You Just Can’t Get Good Help These Days
No matter how hard I try to impress on my roommates to do the housecleaning and lawn mowing while I’m at work, this is what I get. (Well, unless you count eating grass and throwing it up on the living room floor.)
Deep Thought: The first time I ever saw the ocean, I was real disappointed. “That’s the ocean?!” I said. No, said Mom and Dad, that’s just the parking lot. When we pulled into the lot, I was real disappointed in it. It was hard to find a spot, and the spaces seemed way too narrow, in my book. The ocean was okay, I guess, but I still can’t get over how disappointing that parking lot was.
Today I am grateful for: Spatulas

Yep… I think my cat’s addicted to my bedspread. LOL. The Lazibones!
It is a law of nature. The house is cleaned to the point of the occupant who will tolerate the least grime.
I have roommates that look like that. Of course in the grass you can’t find them because it’s so tall and they are not, but that’s another story for another time. Infinite Blessings
Our barn cat does that, usually in the middle of hall when you are trying to walk your horse down it. The cat thinks it’s a horse. When I take Solon outside to eat grass the cat comes out, plants itself close to Solon’s head and it starts eating grass! I had no idea cats did that!!
Our ‘skinny cat’ named aptly so after adopting her boney body from the SPCA, who is now fatter than the ‘fat cat’ we adopted on the same day…has decided she must only drink out of faucets. She waits for us in the bathroom and in the kitchen and won’t stop yammering until she gets what she wants.
Cats Rule.
very cute
These cats are just the picture of relaxation. It’s no wonder they don’t help out around the house. Naps are more fun.
Hmm…when *I* lie on the grass like that my neighbors make phone calls to the Blue Boys up the street to come and get me. I usually manage to barf in the bathroom though (not always but most times.) My little Partners in Dirt would not be caught dead lying in grass. It’s scares the bejeebers out of them.
Your lazy housekeepers are very lovely.

I am always asking my dog/roommate Fergus to do the dishes and the laundry but he has yet to pull his own weight. guess we both just need personal assistants, eh? *g*
My cats do their part. They stress the furniture to give it that antiqued look and they add fur to the rugs in their attempt to make them shag carpets.
Well, now i know where the term “fat cats” comes from!
Have a good day. Did you know spatulas make good spanking tools? They swat wee behinds real good.
Enjoyed this very much. We have a house full of elderly felines. Eli will help with the dishes if we have anything like chicken breast. Chloe is adept at clearing all objects from any horizontal surface. Their favorite place to upchuck grass is on my goose down comforter which is such a joy to clean.
