the sun
is
the color of
joy falling stars mown
hay marigolds sea-sand
cat’s eyes childbirth
preludes afterthoughts
christmas tree balls
apricots morning field
corn silence and grief
is
the color of
the sun

Deep Thought: If you’re ever giving a speech, when you start out, act nervous and get mixed up a little bit. Then, as you go along, get better and better. Then, at the end, give off a white, glowing light and have rays shoot out of you.

I have found what once was fairy tale holds more reality that what we are presented as reality..I love your Sun words…
Oregon,I can almost smell the musky damp forests…I agree with you on the sandal gratitude…My favorites were lost for a couple of days.

The last time I gave a speech I pretended I was the Queen. I spoke as she does, very slowly, in phrases, looking up between each one. I quoted a bit of bible for gravity. It went down so well I got invited to do radio. I babbled. I didn’t get invited again.
The sun this morning was a huge cranberry coloured orb. It was glorious!!!
