  • Spring

OK, I declare it’s sprung in Portland. There is one daffodil blooming in my back yard and all over town you can just tell. We had a few days of sun and temps over 70 this week. Oh I know it won’t last. We’ll get more rain. But I don’t care. Time to start gardening.
Yesterday I finally got my colonoscopy scheduled for this Friday morning. More will be revealed. Have a great day everybody.
Deep Thought: Sometimes you have to be careful when selecting a new name for yourself. For instance, let’s say you have chosen the nickname “Fly Head.” Normally you would think that “Fly Head” would mean a person who has beautiful swept-back features, as if flying through the air. But think again. Couldn’t it also mean “having a head like a fly”? I’m afraid some people might actually think that.
Today I am grateful for: Blow dryers

  • Best of luck with your colonoscopy!

Somehow, “fly head” immediately conjures, for me personally, the image of a little itsy-bitsy flly’s head on a neck-tied man’s body.  Maybe that was in some horror flick I had the misfortune to watch?  Dunno…

  • Are you thinking of all the witty things you can say to the doctor performing the colonoscopy?  Then again, maybe that isn’t a good idea.  You don’t want your doctor laughing so hard he is wiggling around while checking you out in that way.  Infinite Blessings

  • FLOWERS!  70s!!  LUCKY YOU!  (and I hope all is well with the test results!)

  • I’m right with you. It’s been in the 60s and 70s this week, the crocus are blooming, the trees are budding, and kids are snottin’ and sneezin’. Spring has sprung!

  •   Since it snowed all last night, Spring is still far away from Cleveland. *sigh* Lucky you at having daffidils, they are a welcome sight.

Good Luck with the colonoscopy. I’ve had them several times & now I find the preparation worse than the test. Drinking all that yucky stuff. But it’s still scary, so I wish you the best with it.
