OK, it’s Wednesday. The house was over 80 when I closed it up and left for work. That means another night of brain melt when I get home. But the end is in sight. It’s dropping to the 80′s by tomorrow I guess.
I still don’t understand this Xanga environment. How can I read other journals if they’re public? I’ll go see if I can figure it out.

Hi… you can read other xanga blogs by clicking on the “xanga” link at the top right of the page. You can also get there by clicking here. Isn’t that neat. We can easily make hyperlinks in our comments. There are links to some recently updated pages there and some to “featured content” blogs, as well as newly created ones like yours. Of course, anytime you comment on someones’ blog you leave a link back to your own blog. It’s a great way to get some traffic to your site because people often visit your site if you comment on theirs. Another way to find blogs you might like is to click on their names in the comment section of other people’s blogs. Under each blog entry is a link that either says “add comment” or something like “19 comments” — however many they have. Click on that to take you to the list of comments on that blog. That’s where you will also find links back to everyone who left a message. I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it really soon.

It is so nice to see another adult. There are so many young people on xanga now and I find myself wondering what in the world they are talking about most of the time. As for your previous blog, I’m sorry to hear about the prescription coverage screw up and hope that it is straightened out soon. As a side note, I may be joining you in the world of thyroid medication takers as I think mine has gone hay-wire. Infinite Blessings

Luckily for us in Virginia it has been a very wet year, with lots of snow and lots of rain. This has a tendency to cool things off! I have not turned on the air this year. Lucky me! Portland, however, is usually wet. Is it drier this year?
I remember when we lived in Seattle we didn’t have air conditioning . . . because frankly you don’t need it . . well maybe a couple days a year you did.
But at least every night it really cooled down; even down right chilly, which is the way I like it. But now we live in Texas . . . where it’s HOT a lot. Oh well, you go where the work is.
Hi and welcome! I’ve been doing this a couple years, as I know Alice has. Generally, if you ask questions someone will answer them.
Happy Journaling!
Welcome to Xanga! I hope you enjoy getting to know everybody and posting stuff for everybody to read as well!
I’m sorry to hear about your prescrip problem — I know with my thyroid meds if I get them the least bit too early, my insurance won’t pay either. Ick.
