A Cat Haiku (found here)
In deep sleep hear sound.
Cat vomit hairball somewhere.
Will find in morning.
Deep Thought: “The first time I ever tried to milk a cow at Grandpa’s farm, I didn’t even know which end of the cow to milk! Then I guess I got even dumber, because the next time I couldn’t even find the barn. Then the last time, I just went out in the woods and lived, with no clothes.”
Today I am grateful for: Words
Guess the Movie: “Well, I mean that for nearly three thousand years man has been searching for the lost ark. It’s not something to be taken lightly. No one knows its secrets. It’s like nothing you’ve ever gone after before.” Answer: Raiders of the Lost Ark, 1981.

Ahh, that haiku could so easily apply to dogs too.
And Raiders of the Lost Ark would be the movie.
And the real mystery is how you will find the AM kitty present…probably by stepping on it with bare foot! LOL!
My cat always seems to choose a spot that is very visible and very carpeted
.
Movie quote’s gotta be Raiders of the Lost Ark
Dear Lionne,
Now I wish I had saved my “cat limericks” for inclusion in the comments for this entry. I never wrote “cat haiku” but had about a dozen limericks “inspired” by our two cats.

That haiku is awesome. Absolutely awesome!
That’s one thing that I don’t miss – the constant hairballs. My pup hucks up something once in a while, but most of the time it’s outside. And Cindy Sheehan. She’s really going full bore. Arrested, eh? Wow.
Great poem!! My cat relates!!
Raiders of Lost Ark correctomundo!
btw… I think the names Sushi and Nike are FANTASTIC kitty names. One enacts revenge on the other for stealing his fish
.
Humorous Haiku! Is that Tubby in the photo? Love the deep thought-lol!
One of my favorite movies. The cat looks so peaceful.
