  • Wolf

With night commence my hours of delight. The moon will be as usual abroad and I shall race the wolf down all the labyrinths of flight.

Deep Thought: If life gives you a bowl of lemons, go find an annoying guy with paper cuts. Make it worthwhile!
Today I am grateful for: Assassins

  • yesssss! (to the deep thoughts for today) *giggling like a lunatic in Canada this morning*

  • Internal or external?

  • If life gives you a bowl of lemons, go find an annoying guy with paper cuts. Make it worthwhile!

Nah make a jug of lemonade instead, you get better enjoyment.

  • That’s cool that you got the last scene!! A couple others have figure it out too. It was so moving I was almost in tears. It really touched me.

Is it warm over there? It’s unbearable hot over here in Gresham. Uggh. I heard it is supposed to rain this weekend though.

  • the wolf moon is great – where’d you get all these amazing pictures – and the labyrinth, now do come back and tell us…. -:)

  • i like this kabat-zinn book. i suppose its only a primer on meditation, but i like some of the other topics it touches on too (karma, interconnectedness, non-harming). it’s a nice read to slow down during the day. nice easy meditation excercises.

as far as spirituality and meditation, there’s a book i REALLY love… grace and grit by ken wilber. amazing book. it’s everything – a story of love, a story of loss, a story of the soul, and offers a nice education on non-traditional healing too. you should really check it out if you have a chance.

all these books were referred to me through one of the classes i took over spring semester, a spirituality and health class. the 2 professors – one a religion professor and one a medical school professor really opened my eyes to non-traditional healing/spirituality/meditation. i loved the class, and now i’m really into this type of thing. hopefully i’ll be able to incorporate it somewhat into medical practice. anyway, sorry for the long comment, none of friends really want to hear me blab about this boring stuff… lol

ps – have you heard of elisabeth targ? what a story!

  • I’ve got a Kabat-Zinn book that I poke around in: Full Catastrophe Living. I’ll check out the wilber one and no I haven’t heard of Elisabeth Targ. Fill me in.

The wolf moon was found by simple googling with the words “wolf moon”. The poem is mine.

  • “Labyrinths of flight” love it! I’m still trying to get back to the old order of my life since I came back from vacation and hope to soon be able to do more than comment on other’s work.

  • Oooh. Pretty. . . .
