Sunday – straight from baking 100 degree temps last week to cloudy. Oregon weather is so perverse.

Had my house painted last month and it took the whole month thanks to the various escapades of the painters. They did charge about $1000 less than the other bids I got and someone said you got what you paid for. So they’re coming back to fix a window they broke and try to paint a corner under the eaves in front that they insist is practically impossible. It’s like a bad dream – when will I wake up.

Sierra my granddaughter is here. My son will be picking her up by noon. She stayed overnight.
