  • OK, it’s Wednesday.  The house was over 80 when I closed it up and left for work.  That means another night of brain melt when I get home.  But the end is in sight.  It’s dropping to the 80′s by tomorrow I guess.

I still don’t understand this Xanga environment.  How can I read other journals if they’re public?  I’ll go see if I can figure it out.

  • The end of a very hot sweaty day in Portland, Oregon. Smog alert called for today and tomorrow. Tomorrow should be a record 100. The main incident in my work day was observing my old boss up close. He’s fighting some kind of blood disease and is so frail. It makes me really sad. Even though he and I haven’t ever been very close, we’ve grown old together since I started there 18 years ago. After work annoyance was to get to the pharmacy for my monthly thyroid scrip and find my prescription insurance had been terminated without me knowing anything about it. Had to pay out of pocket and come home and call my Benefits Office to track down how this mistake could have happened. My yard is so dry. I always forget when it will finally turn green again each year.
